La Cesenate is constantly growing as seen by its  production capacity and its turnover which has doubled in the last five years. The international objectives of the company mean that the turnover is divided equally between Italy and the foreign market. The quality of production is certified to the standard UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008, the Global Standard for Food Safety and the International Food Standard.

60 years of quality

In 1949, the agronomist Luigi Rossi founded La Cesenate Conserve Alimentari, in the heart of Romagna, the perfect agricultural area. Over the 60 year period from its foundation to the present day, La Cesenate has grown from a small family business into an economically solid enterprise.

The production processes at La Cesenate  are aimed at preserving the natural quality of fruit and vegetables, through the use of advanced technology. The high level of automation reached means that large quantities of fruit and vegetables can be treated in a very short space of time, and consequently, their freshness maintained.

A property in Tuscany

La Cesenate has a property in Tuscany, near Grosseto, large about 160 hectares and cultivated with apricot-trees, apple-trees and pear trees. Choice and destination of this property are the result of the Company's search for the best agricultural varieties and lands.
