La Cesenate is quality

In 1949, the agronomist Luigi Rossi founded La Cesenate Conserve Alimentari, in the heart of Romagna, the perfect agricultural area due to the soil quality, weather conditions and the skills of the workers. High quality agricultural produce from Romagna is famous throughout all the world.
 
Over the 60 year period from its foundation to the present day, La Cesenate has grown from a small family business into an economically solid enterprise. It is the leader in the canned and bottled food sector while retaining the qualities of a typical company of Romagna, linked to its roots and its personality.
 
Today the high quality standards are also bringing La Cesenate success in the sectors of organically-grown and partly-processed foods destined for the production of baby-foods.

In 2004 La Cesenate has become a major partner of Alce Nero and Mielizia S.p.a. deals with the transformation and the supply of fruit and vegetables (except for jam and stewed fruits).

Bag-In-Box

La Cesenate has developed a new line of packaging: bag-in-box to maintain the freshness of tomatoes and vegetables. A new technology that enables the consumption of products in big pieces, as they were just chopped.
