ELECTRONIC HIGH - RESOLUTION SORTER FOR CHOPPED TOMATOES
The sorting of chopped or sieved tomatoes makes it absolutely necessary to have an appropriate system for eliminating rejects. The electronic high-resolution sorter is based on a completely innovative aspiration system. This resolves any problems guaranteeing 9 T/h production with high precision. The visioning system is based on a CCD video camera and a DSP digital elaboration panel, with an optical resolution of 1mm over an operational area of 1000mm.
DOUBLE VISION CHROMATIC SORTER FOR TOMATOES
To produce chopped tomatoes a chromatic sorting of tomatoes which are very red is necessary The double vision chromatic sorter analyses the tomato from two sides (from on top and underneath) and if the results of both analyses are not satisfactory the rejected tomato is eliminated.
ELECTRONIC SORTER FOR WHOLE TOMATOES
In the production of tomato purée, and particularly in the production of chopped tomatoes, it is very important to eliminate green tomatoes. The monovision is an efficient sorter for all the grades of colour from green to red. The electronic sorter does not only analyse the colour, but it can be regulated to identify bad tomatoes, with an acceptable level of efficiency when the bad area covers more than 50% of the tomato. The elimination of the rejects takes place as they are transferred from one conveyor-belt to another. Special pneumatic expulsors are used which optimise speed without reducing the operational life.
